Have you watched the film Finding Nemo?
It's about a fishes, a father who goes looking for his son in the ocean. On his journey he meets another fish, Dory. What's funny is that Dory has a very short memory. As we progress through the film there are various points where Dory is repeating herself because her memory is so short.
This morning I was reading some information on focus and that has been my “focus” of this week. I was interested to find out that focus is like a muscle that can be built up. I don't know whether have a poor memory and poor focus is the same thing.
However, the reason I was reminded of the film Finding Nemo is due to a comment I read that stated our memory is diminishing and gold fish have a better memory than we do.
So if you want to prevent yourself from turning into Dory I share some tips on how you can train your brain to focus on one task and prevent that pull to be distracted.
